Box 8000 Shirley, MA 01464 Dear Ms. Pineda: I have received the petition of Darius Gibson appealing the nonresponse of the Department of Correction (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Gibson requested all documents about the confiscation of outgoing mail to the Registry of Deeds. Having received no response, Mr. Gibson petitioned this office. Subsequently, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated October 6, 2021. Where this matter was opened based upon the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
