The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records October 21, 2021 SPR21/2735 Nancy J. Lowell Town Clerk 48 High Street PO Box 603 Warren, MA 01083-0603 Dear Ms. Lowell: I have received the petition of Beverly Soltys appealing the response of the Town of Warren (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On September 23, 2021, Ms. Soltys requested “copies of any and all email and text correspondence, notes, records, documents, or other communications for the period May 1, 2021 to present day, September 23, 2021” between the Town’s Building Inspector/Commissioner and Select Board Members. The Town provided a response on October 7, 2021. Unsatisfied with the Town’s response, Ms. Soltys petitioned this office and SPR21/2735 was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, the Town provided Ms. Soltys with a supplemental response on October 21, 2021. Where the basis of this appeal was the October 7th response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. If issues remain unresolved, Ms. Soltys may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s October 21st response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
