Murray Supervisor of Records November 2, 2021 SPR21/2751 Michael Vigneux Records Access Officer City of Worcester Police Department 911 Lincoln Square Worcester, MA 01608 Dear Mr. Vigneux: I have received the petition of Peter Jasper appealing the response of the City of Worcester (City) Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). In a September 5, 2021 letter, Mr. Jasper requested records relating to an identified case. Based upon a conversation between a staff member in the Public Records Law and the City of Worcester, it is my understanding that the City intends on providing a response to this appeal. Accordingly, the City is ordered to provide Mr. Jasper with a response to his request in a manner consistent with the Public Records Law and its Access Regulations within 10 business days.
