Anderson, Jr. appealing the nonresponse of the Department of Correction (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On September 6, 2021, Mr. Anderson requested the following: “[1] Where in the Department is ‘testing’ this use of inmate to staff and staff to inmate emails is occurring; [2] What results have been produced by the ‘test’ during the test period.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Anderson petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR21/2771, was opened as a result. It is my understanding the Department provided a response dated October 28, 2021 to Mr. Anderson’s request. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed.
