The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records November 12, 2021 SPR21/2846 Louise McCarthy State 911 Department 151 Campanelli Drive, Suite 1 Middleborough, MA 02346 Dear Louise McCarthy: I have received the petition of 911 Records appealing the nonresponse of the State 911 Department (Department) to requests for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). The requestor sought the “electronic copy of all Support and Incentive Grant ‘Appendix A - Personnel Cost’ submissions from all applicants in the fiscal year 2021.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, the requestor petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that a representative from the Department intends on providing a written response to the requestor. As such, the Department is ordered to provide the requestor with a written response. Said response shall be made in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Regulations and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. The requestor may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
