Records Access Officer Cannabis Control Commission Two Washington Square Union Station, Second Floor Worcester, MA 01604 Dear Attorney DeAngelis: I have received the petition of Sean Sheridan appealing the nonresponse of the Cannabis Control Commission (Commission) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 4, 2021, Mr. Sheridan requested “data on cohort three (3) of the social equity program. Specifically, a spreadsheet of all persons in the third cohort along with all available fields in the dataset.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Sheridan petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR21/2916, was opened as a result. It is my understanding the Commission provided a response dated November 8, 2021 to Mr. Sheridan’s request. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Commission’s lack of a written response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Sheridan may appeal the substantive nature of the Commission’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
