The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records November 19, 2021 SPR21/2932 Kate M Silvia Department of Corrections - Administrative Services Central Headquarters 50 Maple Street Milford, MA 01757 Dear Ms. Silvia: I have received the petition of Emmett Muldoon appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Department of Corrections (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Muldoon requested records or “a copy of each standard noted on page one of [the] reasonable accommodation policy… [and] a full copy of each standard.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Muldoon petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department responded to Mr. Muldoon’s request with a response sent on November 10, 2021. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Muldoon may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
