The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records November 16, 2021 SPR21/2942 Allison M. Cogliano, Esq. Assistant City Solicitor City of Brockton – Law Department 45 School Street, City Hall Brockton, MA 02301 Dear Attorney Cogliano: I have received the petition of Sean Sheridan appealing the nonresponse of the City of Brockton Law Department (City) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 12, 2021, Mr. Sheridan requested mails written by an identified individual. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Sheridan petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR21/2942, was opened as a result. It is my understanding the City provided a response dated November 15, 2021 to Mr. Sheridan’s request. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the City’s lack of a written response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Sheridan may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, . ' ' . I . - - ~ - - . Rebecca S.
