The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records November 17, 2021 SPR21/2978 Henry J. Swiniarski Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority 1 Transportation Avenue PO Box 1988 Hyannis, MA 02601 Dear Mr. Swiniarski: I have received the petition of William C. Stafford appealing the nonresponse of the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (Authority) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Stafford requested the “Annual Town Reports for July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 for the Towns of Barnstable, Bourne, Mashpee and Sandwich.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Stafford petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Authority responded to Mr. Stafford’s request with a response sent on November 15, 2021. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Authority’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Stafford may appeal the substantive nature of the Authority’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records cc: William C.
