The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records November 19, 2021 SPR21/2980 Mike Vigneux Records Access Officer City of Worcester 455 Main Street Worcester, MA 01608 Dear Mr. Vigneux: I have received the petition of Attorney Joseph F. Hennessey of the Law Offices of Joseph F. Hennessey appealing the nonresponse of the City of Worcester (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 2, 2021, Attorney Hennessey requested 10 categories of records concerning the Worcester Police Department. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Attorney Hennessey petitioned this office, and this appeal, SPR21/2980, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the City provided Attorney Hennessey with a response dated November 19, 2021. In light of the City’s November 19th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Attorney Hennessey may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records cc: Joseph F. Hennessey, Esq. Janice E. Thompson, Esq.
