The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records November 24, 2021 SPR21/3006 Sean Driscoll Communications Director and Records Access Officer Woods Hole, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority 228 Palmer Avenue Falmouth, MA 02543 Dear Mr. Driscoll: I have received the petition of Charles Leinas appealing the response of the Woods Hole, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority (Authority) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 25, 2021, Mr. Leinas requested a copy of “. . . the scoring tabulation for both our proposal and the other 3 finalists . . . [and] . . . a digital copy of the winning bidder’s proposal.” The Authority provided a response on October 26, 2021. Unsatisfied with the Authority’s response, Mr. Leinas petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR21/3006, was opened as a result. It is my understanding that on November 23, 2021, the Authority provided Mr. Leinas with a response, which included responsive records. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Leinas may appeal the substantive nature of the Authority’s November 23rd response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
