Murray Supervisor of Records November 22, 2021 SPR21/3053 Lieutenant Antonio Ayala Cambridge Police Department 125 Sixth Street Cambridge, MA 02142 Dear Lieutenant Ayala: I have received the petition of Attorney Kim Thai appealing the nonresponse of the Cambridge Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On November 10, 2021, Attorney Thai requested all records relating to a client. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Attorney Thai petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR21/3053, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that a response was provided to Attorney Thai on November 19, 2021. Where this matter was opened based upon the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
