The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records November 24, 2021 SPR21/3059; SPR21/3061 Madonna Meagher Public Records Officer Great Barrington Housing Authority 2 Bernard Gibbons Drive Great Barrington, MA 01230 Dear Ms. Meagher: I have received the petitions of Eileen Mooney appealing the response of the Great Barrington Housing Authority (Authority) to requests for public records. G. L. c. 66, § l0A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 12, 2021 and November 2, 2021, Ms. Mooney requested various payroll records regarding the Great Barrington Housing Authority. On October 27, 2021, the Authority provided a response and provided a further response on November 15, 2021. Unsatisfied with the Authority’s responses, Ms. Mooney petitioned this office and these appeals, SPR21/3059 and SPR21/3061, were opened as a result. Based upon a conversation between a Public Records Division staff attorney and a representative from the Authority, it is my understanding that the Authority intends on providing a subsequent response to Ms. Mooney. Accordingly, the Authority is ordered to provide Ms. Mooney with a response to her request in a manner consistent with the Public Records Law and its Regulations within 10 business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Ms. Mooney may appeal the substantive nature of the Authority’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
