Murray Supervisor of Records December 17, 2021 SPR21/3185 Mary Lou Folan Town Clerk Records Access Officer Town of Norwood 566 Washington Street, Room 27 Norwood, MA 02062 Dear Mary Lou Folan: I have received the petition of Christopher Donovan appealing the response of the Town of Norwood (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On November 8, 2021, Mr. Donovan requested: [1] …copies of all communication[s], including powerpoint presentations or any documents or presentations…between the Town of Norwood, Norwood Airport Commission, any representative or attorney, [and identified individuals and entities] regarding [a certain] meeting on November 8, 2021[, and;] [2] …copies of all communication[s] between the Town of Norwood, [the Norwood Airport Commission], [Board of Selectmen], and any entity, known or unknown, with [the identified individuals and entities] from January 1, 2021 to the present. The Town provided a response on November 19, 2021. Unsatisfied with the Town’s response, Mr. Donovan petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR21/3185, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town intends on providing a supplementary response to Mr. Donovan. Accordingly, the Town is ordered to provide Mr. Donovan with a written response in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Regulations, and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Donovan may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety days.
