The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records December 15, 2021 SPR21/3256 Emily Butler Records Access Officer City of Framingham 150 Concord Street Framingham, MA 01702 Dear Ms. Butler: I have received the petition of Brian Petrini-Smith appealing the response of the City of Framingham (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 3, 2021, Mr. Petrini-Smith requested “copies of all contested ballots that were sent to the Middlesex Superior Court case (2181CV04694) and any affiliated cases combined with that case.” The City provided a response on December 14, 2021, indicating it does not possess responsive records. Unsatisfied with the City’s response, Mr. Petrini-Smith petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR21/3256, was opened as a result. The City provided a supplemental response on December 15, 2021. In a December 15, 2021 email, Mr. Petrini-Smith informed this office he wishes to withdraw the administrative appeal. Accordingly, per Mr. Petrini-Smith’s request to withdraw his appeal, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Sincerely, Rebecca S.
