Murray Supervisor of Records January 4, 2022 SPR21/3326 Sandy Nadeau-Lemoine Blackstone Town Clerk’s Office 15 St. Paul Street Blackstone, MA 01504 Dear Mrs. Nadeau-Lemoine I have received the petition of Matthew Amato appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Blackstone (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Amato requested various records relating to misconduct reports against a particular detective. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Town intends to provide a response to this request. Accordingly, the Town is ordered to provide Mr. Amator with a response to the request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within 10 business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us.
