The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records January 6, 2022 SPR22/0015 Helene Bettencourt Department of Elementary & Secondary Education 75 Pleasant Street Malden, MA 02148 Dear Ms. Bettencourt: I have received the petition of Craig Haller appealing the nonresponse of the Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Haller requested a breakdown by school district as to how many participants are registered for an identified training. Having received no response, Mr. Haller petitioned this office. Subsequently, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated January 4, 2022. Where this matter was opened based upon the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Haller may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
