Fleming appealing the response of the Town of Oxford (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 22, 2021, Mr. Fleming requested “any records, including emails, since June 1, 2021 which could be considered a request to hold a meeting of the board of selectmen, or a request that a topic (any topic) be included in the notice of a meeting of the board of selectmen.” The Town provided a response and fee estimate on January 6, 2021. Unsatisfied with the Town’s response, Mr. Fleming petitioned this office and appeal SPR22/0036 was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, the Town spoke with this office and provided a supplemental response on January 14, 2021. Where the basis of this appeal was the January 6th response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. If issues remain unresolved, Mr. Fleming may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s January 14st response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
