Murray Supervisor of Records January 31, 2022 SPR22/0094 Marvenia Frazier-Shubrick Public Records Coordinator City of Springfield 36 Court Street Springfield, MA 01103 Dear Ms. Frazier-Shubrick: I have received the petition of Russell Seelig appealing the response of the City of Springfield (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 22, 2021, Mr. Seelig requested “… all the documents generated from July 1, 2021 thru the current date regarding the Farmers Market in Forest Park.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Seelig petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/0094, was opened as a result. Despite being notified of the opening of this appeal, it remains unclear whether the City has provided a response. As such, the City is ordered to provide Mr. Selig with a response to his request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Access Regulations within ten (10) business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. Mr. Selig may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
