G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 7, 2021, Ms. Jochem requested “[a]ny records, including police reports, the state police has on [an identified individual], including records about [their] death in 2014.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Jochem petitioned this office, and this appeal, SPR22/0104, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department is aware of this appeal and is working on a response. Accordingly, the Department is ordered to provide Ms. Jochem with a response to the request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within 10 business days.
