The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records January 26, 2022 SPR22/0108 Allison Mondello Massachusetts State Police 470 Worcester Road Framingham, MA 01702 Dear Allison Mondello: I have received the petition of Sean Sheridan appealing the nonresponse of the Department of State Police (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 23, 2021, Mr. Sheridan requested “…audio recordings of any 911 calls received by the Massachusetts State Police on May 15th, 2021 between 8pm and 11pm.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Sheridan petitioned this office, and this appeal, SPR22/0108, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Mr. Sheridan with a response dated January 26, 2022. In light of the Department’s January 26th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Sheridan may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
