Ferreira, CMMC Town Clerk Town of Middleborough 20 Center Street; 1st Floor Middleborough, MA 02346 Dear Ms. Ferreira: I have received the petition of Lisa Parr appealing the response of the Town of Middleborough Office of the Town Clerk (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Ms. Parr requested: a copy of the most recent Town resident list. By email on January 4, 2022, the Town provided Ms. Parr with a copy of the Town’s 2021 Annual Street List. On January 6, 2022, Ms. Parr sent a message to the Town’s public records portal stating, “[t]his does not complete my request. I am requesting the state extract in .txt format. I cannot use [Adobe pdf format].” On January 18, 2022, Ms. Parr petitioned the Supervisor of Records (Supervisor), and this appeal was opened. On January 19, 2022, the Town Clerk’s Office provided Ms. Parr with a copy of the state extract of the Town’s 2021 Annual Street List in Ms. Parr’s preferred and requested format, .txt format. Where this appeal was based on the Town’s January 4th response, I will consider this appeal closed. Ms. Parr may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s January 19th response within ninety days.
