The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records February 2, 2022 SPR22/0119 Cheryl Anne Watson, Esq. City Solicitor City of Chelsea 500 Broadway, Room 307 Chelsea, MA 02150 Dear Attorney Watson: I have received the petition of Lisa Parr appealing the response of the City of Chelsea (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 20, 2021, Ms. Parr requested, “…a copy of the most recent town resident list in electronic tabular format.” On December 20, 2021, the City responded. Unsatisfied with the City’s response, Ms. Parr petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/0119, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the City responded to Ms. Parr’s request with a further response sent on January 20, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s December 20th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Parr may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s January 20th response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
