The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records February 10, 2022 SPR22/0203 Amy Kane Records Access Officer Framingham Public Schools 150 Concord Street Framingham, MA 01702 Dear Ms. Kane: I have received the petition of a Marion King appealing the response of the Framingham Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 15, 2022, Ms. King requested, “Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Letter(s) of Finding for [identified] complaint PRS redacted of any confidential information.” The School responded on January 26, 2022. Unsatisfied with the response, Ms. King petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/0203, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the School provided a supplemental response on January 31, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the of the School’s January 26th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. King may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records cc: Marion King Philip B.
