The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records February 18, 2022 SPR22/0279 Carly Premo Melo Super Records Access Officer City of Framingham Technology Services Department 150 Concord Street Framingham, MA 01702 Dear Director Premo Melo: I have received the petition of Frank Wood appealing the nonresponse of the City of Framingham Technology Services Department (City) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 3, 2022, Mr. Wood requested the following records between July 1, 2021 and December 20, 2021: [1] Emails and any correspondences between [named persons][;] [2] Any communications from the former mayor, or …staff…in regards to toy soldiers/nutcrackers…[;] [3] Budget documents, expenses, costs, documentation of spending, in regards to new toy soldiers/nutcrackers. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Wood petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/0279, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the City provided a response to Mr. Wood’s request. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the City’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Wood may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
