G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 18, 2022, the Malden News Network requested “…payments made to employees or professional services (including advisors, lawyers, law firms, architects, engineering consultants, LLCs etc.) during the calendar year 2021 or 2022.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, the Malden News Network petitioned this office, and this appeal, SPR22/0323, was opened as a result. As of the date of this letter, it is my understanding that the School has not provided the Malden News Network a response to their request for records. Accordingly, the School is ordered to provide the Malden News Network with a response to the request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within 10 business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us.
