The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records February 18, 2022 SPR22/0340 Julie Ciollo, Esq. Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority 10 Park Plaza, Suite 7760 Boston, MA 02116 Dear Attorney Ciollo: I have received the petition of Harry Mattison appealing the response of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Mattison requested: “[e]mails to/from any MBTA employee and anyone with an email address ending in @barrfoundation.org.” Mr. Mattison appealed the MBTA’s January 27, 2022 response. After being notified of this appeal, the MBTA provided a February 15, 2020 supplemental response. Given that this appeal was opened based on the prior response, accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Mattison may appeal the substantive nature of the MBTA’s February 15th response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
