The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records February 24, 2022 SPR22/0386 Gloria Mitchell Assistant Town Administrator Town of Kingston 26 Evergreen Street Kingston, MA 02364 Dear Ms. Cohen: I have received the petition of Patricia Ross appealing the response of the Town of Kingston (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 20, 2022, Ms. Ross requested, “…copy of the Bid submitted by [named company] along with all the documents submitted by them with the Bid (or as included in a sub bid documents) and also a copy of the singed Contract and Documents submitted by them with the contract for the [named project] …” On February 3, 2022, the Town responded. Unsatisfied with the Town’s response, Ms. Ross petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/0386, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town responded to Ms. Ross’ request with a further response sent on February 17, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s February 3rd response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Ross may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s February 17th response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
