G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 18, 2022, Ms. Jochem requested, “[a]ny policies the state police has about working with informants [and]… any past policies going back to 2010 the state police has on working with informants if a policy has been updated since 2010.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Jochem petitioned this office and this appeal, 22/0400, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department responded to Ms. Jochem’s request on February 22, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
