The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records March 2, 2022 SPR22/0462 Kathleen Jackson City Clerk/Records Access Officer City of Attleboro 77 Park Street Attleboro, MA 02703 Dear Ms. Jackson: I have received the petition of Andrew Kerr appealing the response of the City of Attleboro (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 11, 2022, Mr. Kerr requested, “… all city ordinances, Law’s [sic], policies and procedure’s [sic], including election commission polices in regard to voting, and specifically who hold’s [sic] the ballot box key during the election.” On February 18, 2022, the City responded. Unsatisfied with the City’s response, Mr. Kerr petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/0462, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the City responded to Mr. Kerr’s request with a further response sent on February 28, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the City’s February 18th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Kerr may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s February 28th response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
