The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records March 14, 2022 SPR22/0487 Dr. Todd Stewart Superintendent of Schools Ashburnham-Westminster Regional School District 11 Oakmont Drive Ashburnham, MA 01430 Dear Superintendent Stewart: I have received the petition of Marion J. King appealing the nonresponse of the Ashburnham-Westminster Regional School District (District) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 15, 2022, Ms. King requested “…[t]he Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education letter(s) of finding for [identified] complaint …redacted of any confidential information.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. King petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/0487, was opened as a result. Despite being notified of the opening of this appeal, it remains unclear whether the District has provided a response. Accordingly, the District is ordered to provide Ms. King with a response to her request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Access Regulations within ten (10) business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. Ms. King may appeal the substantive nature of the District’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ./J.
