The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records March 3, 2022 SPR22/0488 Lynn Catarius, Ph.D. Director of Special Education and Student Services Amesbury Public Schools 5 Highland Street Amesbury, MA 01913 Dear Dr. Catarius: I have received the petition of Marion J. King appealing the nonresponse of the Amesbury Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 15, 2022, Ms. King requested a copy of the “…Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Letter(s) of Finding for complaint PRS 5684, redacted of any confidential information.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. King petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/0488, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the School provided Ms. King with a response in an email dated March 3, 2022. In light of the School’s March 3rd response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. King may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records cc: Marion J.
