The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records March 14, 2022 SPR22/0494 Matt Basarir Primary RAO Hampden Charter School of Science 20 Johnson Rd Chicopee, MA 01022 Dear Mr. Basarir: I have received the petition of Marion King appealing the nonresponse of the Hampden Charter School of Science (School) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 15, 2022, Ms. King requested, “[DESE] Letter(s) of Finding for [an identified] complaint … redacted of any confidential information.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. King petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/0494, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the School responded to Ms. King’s request on March 10, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the School’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. King may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
