Box 955 Hyannis, MA 02601 Dear Ms. Mayo-Brown: I have received the petition of Marion King appealing the nonresponse of the Barnstable Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. King requested MA DESE Letter(s) of Finding regarding an identified complaint, redacted of any confidential information. Having received no response, Ms. King petitioned this office. Subsequently, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated March 10, 2022. Where this matter was opened based upon the School’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. King may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
