The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records March 25, 2022 SPR22/0615 Marilyn Tencza Superintendent of Schools Leicester Public Schools 3 Washburn Square Leicester, MA 01524 Dear Superintendent Tencza: I have received the petition of Dylan Lambert appealing the response of the Leicester Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 2, 2022, Mr. Lambert requested various records regarding work performed for the School by a certain consulting group. The School provided a fee estimate on February 16, 2022. Mr. Lambert provided the School a check on February 18, 2022. Indicating that he did not receive records after payment, Mr. Lambert petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/0615, was opened as a result. In a phone call between the School and a staff attorney with the Public Records Division, the School indicated that it would provide a supplemental response to Mr. Lambert. Accordingly, the School is ordered to provide Mr. Lambert with a written response in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Regulations, and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Lambert may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
