G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 4, 2022, Mr. Robles requested incident reports, police reports, notes, witness statements, “…or any other facts (recorded or material) convey by complainant; [an identified individual], or any complaints…which constituted the basis for criminal complaint.” Indicating he had not yet received a response, Mr. Robles petitioned this office, and this appeal, SPR22/0631, was opened as a result. As of the date of this letter, it is my understanding that the Department has not provided Mr. Robles a response to his request for records. Accordingly, the Department is ordered to provide Mr. Robles with a response to the request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within 10 business days.
