Murray Supervisor of Records March 23, 2022 SPR22/0649 Janet Murphy City Clerk City of Watertown 149 Main Street Watertown, MA 02472 Dear Ms. Murphy: I have received the petition of Timothy Craw appealing the response of the City of Watertown (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 25, 2021, Mr. Craw requested various records regarding a certain school building renovation. Previous Appeal The records requested by Mr. Craw were the subject of a previous appeal. See SPR21/3188 Supervisor of Records Determination (December 14, 2021). There, the City indicated that it would provide a supplemental response. The City did so on January 7, 2022. Unsatisfied with the City’s response, Mr. Craw petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/0649, was opened as a result. Subsequently, the City informed a staff attorney in the Public Records Division that it intends on providing a supplementary response to Mr. Craw. Accordingly, the City is ordered to provide Mr. Craw with a written response in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Regulations, and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Craw may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
