Murray Supervisor of Records April 6, 2022 SPR22/0731 Pamela Labonte, CMMC Town Clerk Town of Acushnet 130 Main Street Acushnet, MA 02743 Dear Ms. Labonte: I have received the petition of Friedrich Lu appealing the response of the Town of Acushnet (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Mr. Lu requested information relating to whether a specifically identified resident of the Town died between January 8, 2022 and March 14, 2022. In an April 4, 2022 email, the Town provided Mr. Lu with a response indicating that the Town has confirmed it does not have a record of the specifically identified resident’s death. As a result of the Town’s response, on April 5th, Mr. Lu requested that this office withdraw his appeal. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed.
