Murray Supervisor of Records April 13, 2022 SPR22/0764 Karen Lambert Marlborough Police Department 355 Bolton Street Marlborough, MA 01752 Dear Ms. Lambert: I have received the petition of Grace Ferguson appealing the nonresponse of the Marlborough Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Ferguson requested records of internal affairs cases of domestic and sexual violence. Having received no response, Ms. Ferguson petitioned this office. Subsequently, the Department indicated it will review the request and provide a response. The Department is ordered to provide said response in compliance with the Public Records Law and its Regulations. Ms. Ferguson may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
