The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records April 21, 2022 SPR22/0824 Colleen Mejia, Esq. City Solicitor City of Everett 484 Broadway Everett, MA 02149 Dear Attorney Mejia: I have received the petition of Stephanie Ebbert appealing the response of the City of Everett (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 18, 2022, Ms. Ebbert requested, “[a] breakdown of all the financial settlements of the City of Everett made with individuals who brought claims against Mayor Carlo DeMaria or Former Superintendent Frederick F. Foresteire since 2007…” The City provided a response on March 8, 2022. Unsatisfied with the City’s response, Ms. Ebbert petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/0824, was opened as a result. Subsequently, the City provided a supplemental response on April 7, 2022. In light of this, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Ebbert may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
