G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On March 24, 2022, Mr. Napolitano requested reports of internal affairs investigations involving two officers. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Napolitano petitioned this office and these appeals, SPR22/0828 and SPR22/0829, were opened as a result. Despite being notified of the opening of these appeals and a communication from a member of the Public Records Division staff, it is unclear whether a response has been provided. Accordingly, the Department is ordered to provide Mr. Napolitano with a response(s) to the requests, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within 10 business days.
