The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records April 15, 2022 SPR22/0883 Deanne Gladston Watertown Public Schools 30 Common Street Watertown, MA 02472 Dear Ms. Gladston: I have received the petition of Marion King appealing the nonresponse of the Watertown Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 15, 2022, Ms. King requested “Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Letter(s) of Finding for complaint PRS 5499, 5523, 5524 and 5590.” Indicating she had not yet received responsive records, Ms. King petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/0883, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the School provided Ms. King with a response dated April 14, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the School’s lack of written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. King may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
