The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records April 28, 2022 SPR22/0908 Ann Marie Gill Administrative Clerk Bridgewater Police Department 220 Pleasant Street Bridgewater, MA 02324 Dear Ms. Gill: I have received the petition of Sean Sheridan appealing the nonresponse of the Bridgewater Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On March 31, 2022, Mr. Sheridan requested copies of “ … all records pertaining to dispatch records, phone calls, incident reports, related to car crash on [identified date] … 2021 including but not limited to police chief’s phone records, commanding officers phone records, responding officer phone records, photos, images, texts, pictures, diagrams from 8pm to 11:59pm on …” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Sheridan petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/0908, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Mr. Sheridan with a response dated April 18, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Sheridan may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
