The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records April 27, 2022 SPR22/0924 Allison Mondello Public Records Manager Massachusetts State Police 470 Worcester Road Framingham, MA 01702 Dear Ms. Mondello: I have received the petition of Colman Herman appealing the response of the Department of Massachusetts State Police (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 29, 2021, Mr. Herman requested certain expense records and the Department’s employee reimbursement policy. Previous Appeal The records sought by Mr. Herman were the subject of a previous appeal. See SPR22/0217 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (February 9, 2022). There, the Department was ordered to provide Mr. Herman with a response. The Department provided a response on March 7, 2022. Unsatisfied with the substantive nature of the Department’s response, Mr. Herman petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/0924, was opened as a result. Subsequently, the Department provided Mr. Herman with a supplemental response. Given that this appeal was based on the Department’s March 7th response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Herman may petition the substantive nature of the Department’s supplemental response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
