G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On April 7, 2022, Ms. Ferguson requested internal affairs records of a named police officer. On April 19, 2022, the Department responded. Unsatisfied with the response, Ms. Ferguson appealed and SPR22/0936 was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department responded to Ms. Ferguson’s request with a further response sent on May 3, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s April 19th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Ferguson may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
