The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records May 4, 2022 SPR22/0940 Paul E. Cohen Town Manager Town of Chelmsford 50 Billerica Road Chelmsford, MA 01824 Dear Mr. Cohen: I have received the petition of Stanley Mazurczyk appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Chelmsford (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On March 21, 2022, Mr. Mazurczyk requested “…Chelmsford police officers’ public paid wireless phone usage…” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Mazurczyk petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/0940, was opened as a result. Subsequently, a representative of the Town provided a response to Mr. Mazurczyk’s request on May 4, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s lack of a written response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Mazurczyk may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
