Dowd Town Clerk Town of Northborough 63 Main Street Northborough, MA 01532 Dear Mr. Dowd: I have received the petition of Mitch Cohen appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Northborough (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On April 4, 2022, Mr. Cohen requested, “[c]urrent licenses for both providers (or most recent licenses if not yet renewed)[,] [l]icense-related payments (PEG Access Support/Grants or similar) received in each of the past five years for each provider, including the split between operating and any capital payments[, and] [l]icense-related (TV) Subscriber counts for each of the past five years for each provider[.]” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Cohen petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/0945, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town provided Mr. Cohen with a response dated April 23, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Cohen may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
