Murray Supervisor of Records May 17, 2022 SPR22/1027 Sally Gordon Records Access Officer Raynham Fire Department 37 Orchard Street Raynham, MA 02767 Dear Ms. Gordon: I have received the petition of Sean Sheridan appealing the nonresponse of the Raynham Fire Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On April 15, 2022, Mr. Sheridan requested the following records: 1) Any and all records that indicate which persons were on scene at a car crash on [identified date and time]. 2) The name of the person in charge of the scene. 3) The names of any persons who dealt with or spoke with or filmed, or photographed the Ford Explorer (police cruiser) 4) The names of any persons who dealt with or spoke with or filmed, or photographed the driver of the Ford Explorer (police cruiser) [named person]. 5) Any document indicating any review of the same person, or an Ambulance SARF where [named person] refused treatment, or accepted any treatment. 6) Any and all persons names being attended to by Raynham FD and EMS. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Sheridan petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/1027, was opened as a result. Despite being notified of the opening of this appeal, it remains unclear whether the Department has provided a response. Accordingly, the Department is ordered to provide Mr. Sheridan with a response to his request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Access Regulations within ten (10) business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. Mr. Sheridan may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
