Trounstine appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Parole Board (Board) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 9, 2022, Ms. Trounstine requested: 1. A copy of any communication, i.e. documents, emails, letters, or texts concerning the resignation of any persons employed by the Parole Board staff between May 1, 2019 and Feb. 9, 2022. 2. Any document that states the number of people who were: A. hired by B. employed by C. resigned from The Parole Board between May 1, 2019 and Feb. 9, 2022. 3. Documentation showing the number of those who resigned from the Parole Board between May 1, 2019, and Feb. 9, 2022. 4. Documentation showing: A. the number of civil suits filed in state or federal court where the Parole Board or an employee are defendants (between May 1, 2019 and Feb. 9, 2022). B. the names of lawsuits filed in state or federal court including the docket number and the court in which each was filed (between May 1, 2019 and Feb. 9, 2022). The names, filing date, and docket number of any action filed in the Mass Commission against Discrimination where the Parole Board or an employee are defendants (between May 1, 2019 and Feb. 9, 2022). Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Trounstine petitioned this office, and this appeal, SPR22/1048, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Board is aware of this appeal and is working on a response. Conclusion Accordingly, the Board is ordered to provide Ms. Trounstine with a response to the request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within 10 business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us.
