G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On May 1, 2022, Mr. Quemere requested the internal affairs records relating to a certain law enforcement officer. The City provided a response on May 9, 2022. Unsatisfied with the City’s response, Mr. Quemere petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/1069, was opened as a result. Subsequently, in a conversation between the City and a staff attorney in the Public Records Division, the City indicated that it would provide a supplemental response to Mr. Quemere. Accordingly, the City is ordered to provide Mr. Quemere with said response in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Regulations, and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Quemere may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within ninety days.
